Thanks to the enormous pace of development of medicine, most doctors can be replaced by robots. In the US, machines perform successful operations; supercomputers put the correct diagnosis to patients. Over the past five years, robots have carried out thousands of complicated and highly accurate operations.

A number of American clinics have a supercomputer Watson from IBM. It conducts diagnostics of patients.

Lawyers

Robots can be used only as assistants of lawyers. Modern systems help lawyers and attorneys to find the right documents.

For example, robot lawyer ROSS, developed by IBM and based on the artificial intelligence of Watson, works at the international law firm Baker&Hostetler. It is responsible for cases related to the bankruptcy procedure. ROSS can screen out a lot of irrelevant information, which significantly increases the efficiency of work. Also artificial intelligence is engaged in updating the database of trials.

Robots will take control of journalism as well, experts say. Currently, software products are being tested whether they can generate news items. Forbes and Big Ten Network already use services of robotic journalists.

In some Chinese and Japanese restaurants, waiters were replaced by robots. Hajime Robot Restaurant is the first restaurant in Thailand where all the work is done by robots.

Experts predict that in 10 years most catering establishments will hire robots instead of people. In the future, they can gradually replace the cooks.

Service workers

Experts are sure, that the service sector will be the first where robots will replace people. Machines do not need to be paid, they do not make mistakes due to inattention and do not suffer from mood swings.

At the moment, a part of the customer service systems is already automated. These include ATMs, payment terminals, self-service cash registers, automated parking. In the last two years, robots have replaced library staff.

Workers in enterprises

Since the first machines appeared in the factories, they have successfully replaced workers. In the future, the replacement will continue. People are still present on automated lines of conveyors, but this is a matter of time.

Taxi drivers

Most modern high-tech companies create autopilot systems. Tesla Motors is already testing the systems of automatic control of transport.
