The meeting between Barack Obama and Donald Trump was held behind closed doors. The session lasted for about 90 minutes, though initially the officials were expected to have a formal 15-minute talk.

Obama and Trump discussed current problems of the United States. After the talk, the president-elect called Obama “a very good man”. The president, in his turn, said that the meeting had been “excellent”.
Unveiling the details of the discussion, Donald Trump noted that they covered various topics, including official arrangements, domestic and foreign policies. The official also underlined that he is interested in cooperation with Obama, in joint discussion of the state's issues.
Despite pleasant meeting with Trump, Obama did not change his attitude towards him. The president still considers the billionaire inappropriate candidate for the US president.
Obama expressed his discontent by refusing to pose for the usual photograph featuring the current head and the head-elect of the state in the South Lawn.
